Me and JLa from Purseholic recently attended the Louis Vuitton
Cruise 2013 presentation held at a showflat at Leonie hill.
I think the idea of holding an event at an empty showflat is brilliant! It gives you this relax ambience like home except that
there're gorgeous goods lying around at every corner!
I see a lot of Swarovski crystals, jacquards, geometric shapes, several types of cropped trousers, exotic skins dominating this season. The overall concept are mostly designed for comfort in travelling which should be the core idea of a cruise collection.
The accessories and leather goods however, are far from casual.
They even inserted a swarovski tiara/headpiece into the collection.
They also introduced the idea of pairing up dresses with shorts underneath which is sadly, not my most favorite thing in the world.
But nevertheless, let's take a look!
If you noticed, the shoes were all very tall wedges.
I hope they're comfortable.
Some of the wedges are made of lacquered light-weight corks.
Wedges are my ultimate choice for travelling as well.
It gives you extra height and comfort at the same time ;)
